We are currently seeking an Aged Care Manager to lead our team at Percy Miles in Kirrawee on a permanent full time basis. This key leadership role involves motivating and developing teams within a welcoming and warm residential home environment that is valued by the local community. You will manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the home including clinical, administration, financial, hospitality, maintenance and lifestyle and continue to forge strong relationships with residents and families
Your team will consist of a Care Manager, Senior Administration Coordinator, Workplace Educator and a team of passionate carers and nurses who will thrive working underneath your strong motivational leadership. You will also have close access to your Regional Manager and support from other centralised departments within the organisation including a dedicated HR Business Partner, Recruitment Specialist and Operational Support.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and leading clinical care teams to focus on a culture of continual improvement and quality
Ensuring the home complies with Aged Care Accreditation Standards
Ensuring high quality resident care is consistently delivered throughout the home to all residents including updating of care plans, wound reviews, medication overview, and more
To be successful in this role you’ll need
Completion of tertiary qualifications in nursing, healthcare, or similar (Bachelor of Nursing)
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
Proven competency in operational planning, strategic and innovative thinking, resource management, rostering and budget management
A truly collaborative, compassionate approach to work, and an ability to inspire a team
An exceptional communicator who is collaborative and values relationships
Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
