About the role

This is a part-time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role at Medical & Aged Care Group in Boronia. This is an opportunity to make an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference. As a PCA you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality personal care ensuring comfort, safety and well-being to our residents. What you will bring

Certificate III in Community Services (Aged Care Work) or equivalent qualification
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Ability to work independently within the scope of practice
Commitment to follow RN In Charge directives
Commitment to confidentiality
Self-motivated with a positive work attitude
Empathy, patience and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older adults
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, hygiene and care
Requirements

Previous experience working in an Aged Care Facility Highly Desirable or healthcare setting
Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Statutory Declaration
Current police check Required
Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Highly desirable
COVID Cover for all eligible members and boosters where suitable Highly desirable
