Heritage Care is currently recruiting for a Personal Care Worker to join our teams working across or individual homes located in Victoria and New South Wales.

The Opportunity on Offer

Seeking Personal Care Worker for Full Time positions, however there is flexibility for Part Time or Casual opportunities.

Promote work/life balance – Morning, Evening and Night shift available.

As a Personal Care Worker you will provide support which considers the residents physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs and which enables residents to maintain their own wellbeing and independence for as long as possible. You will be responsible for the delivery of care and services to residents in all areas of activities of daily living in accordance with the residents identified needs and preferences.

How you will make an Impact

You will report to the Registered Nurse in Charge of the Home and be a key member of the team. Some of the key responsibilities of the role are:

• Supporting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Supporting and assisting residents with food and fluids as required
• Assisting the nursing staff with treatments as directed
• Observing the condition or wellbeing of residents and report any concerns.
• Assisting residents with recreational activities

About You

• Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care or completed Aged Care units of Bachelor of Nursing
• Previous experience in a Residential Aged Care Facility essential
• A high level of written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Must possess valid working rights
• Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Current Covid-19 Vaccination (highly recommended)
