REGIONAL SUPOORT MANAGER – RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Reporting to the General Manager Residential Services (GMRS), the Regional Support Manager Residential Services (RSMRS) is a key leadership role dedicated to supporting mecwacare’s statewide Residential Services. The Regional Support Manager works in collaboration with the GMRS, Facility Managers and support staff to achieve quality outcomes for mecwacare residents, employees and volunteers. The Regional Support Manager actively supports the ongoing development and evaluation of mecwacare’s Clinical Governance model

NDIS Check is essential.
AHPRA Registration is essential.
Extensive management experience.
Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership, guidance, motivation and strategic direction to employees, and create partnerships to achieve agreed objectives.
Proficient knowledge of relevant funding, standards and legislative requirements.
Demonstrated skills in root cause analysis and solution focused interventions.
Exceptional organizational, planning and time management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
Nursing qualification.
Willingness to travel to mecwacare residential facilities.
Driver’s License.
Extensive experience in aged and/or Residential based services.
Desirable:
Tertiary management and/or business qualification or working towards same.
Experience with continuous improvement and risk management systems and processes.
Post graduate qualification related to aged and/or Residential services.
Experience with change management processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage service growth and expansion.
