Job Description

The Physiotherapist position plays a fundamental role as part of Humanity Health Group and with Generation Care. Generation Care is a part of Humanity Health Group family of brands. The primary purpose of this position is to deliver quality and person-centred allied health care to improve the health and wellbeing of older Australians. This position works with a mobile team, based in Melbourne, as well as with colleagues throughout Australia.
The Physiotherapist will strive to provide sound assessment and therapeutic intervention services with a patient centred focus within the community. The Physiotherapist will work with clients, case managers and families to ensure quality health care is delivered to older Australians.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality
• Deliver exceptional evidence-based assessments and interventions to older Australians to establish a clear pathway towards goal attainment
• Responsible for providing outcomes which are person-specific and measurable.
• Ensure interventions are appropriate, accurate and documented with set KPI and timeframes.
• Establish services within agreed service level agreement (SLA) timeframes
• Commit to identifying needs and opportunities to support positive client outcomes
People
• Support colleagues within Generation Care and promote/attract higher calibre allied health professionals to join Generation Care and Humanity Health Group.
• Work with the Generation Care Team to strengthen supportive team environment and culture
Growth
• Attend, engage, and participate in relevant meetings to contribute to the growth of the Generation Care brand
• Converse with clients, facilities, and communities to allow easily accessible services to older Australians
• Promote our services to create repeat referrals and new customer opportunities
Performance
• Contribute to providing efficient and timely services as required by SLA timeframes as outlined in the clinician handbook
• Liaise with managers regarding your progress towards service delivery targets as outlined in clinician handbook
• Communicate with key stakeholders on behalf of Generation Care to allow for consistent flow or information exchange and service referrals.
• Complete tasks within any internal and external key performance indicators
• Identify risks to meeting key performance indicators and manage the risk in conjunction with relevant stakeholders

POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Essential
• Qualifications as a Physiotherapist
• Full and unrestricted APRHA registration.
• Clear & Current National Crime Check
• High-level of adaptive communication skills both verbal and written
• Maintaining dignity and respect through use of inclusive, accessible, and sensitive language.
• Ability to work efficiently, manage conflicting priorities and demonstrate exceptional time management skills
• Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive relationships with internal/external key stakeholders
• An understanding of the principles of confidentiality and privacy
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills across all Microsoft Suite/Office Programs and ability to work across different computer systems to complete work tasks
• Able to foster a culture that is approachable and which respects empowerment
• Drivers license and access to a vehicle

• Experience or interest working with older Australians.
