mecwacare is looking for experienced and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join the friendly team at mecwacare’s Simon Price Centre in Mont Albert North location, with a focus on AM PM shifts. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide high-quality, compassionate care that supports the dignity, comfort, and wellbeing of our client’s in a modern, state-of-the-art aged care home.

What you bring:
A minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or a relevant Certificate III/IV qualification.
At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in an aged care home, ideally with proven skills in mentoring and supporting other carers.
Availability to work AM and PM shifts, including weekdays and weekends with occasional night shifts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with older people and their families.
The ability to understand and follow individual client care plans.
Sound problem-solving skills and the judgement to know when to escalate issues to a supervisor.
Proven time management and multi-tasking abilities.
A proactive, dedicated approach to delivering best-practice care.
A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Flexibility to adapt to workplace demands and a collaborative team spirit.
