What you’ll be doing

Leading and supervising the care team, including delegating tasks, providing support and guidance, and monitoring performance
Providing direct nursing care to residents, including administering medication, wound care, and other clinical interventions
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Fostering a positive and supportive work environment for the nursing team
To be successful, you’ll need:

Current AHPRA registration
Previous Aged care
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse working as an After-hours supervisor
Availability and reliability to commit to permanent shifts
Ability to communicate and build rapport with residents, families and team members
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
Strong clinical skills and knowledge, including medication management, wound care, and other nursing interventions
Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care and promoting the wellbeing of our residents
