As a member of the team at Villa Maria, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.
About the Role:
Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you’ll need
A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar
Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
Good coaching/training skills
Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
Strong customer-centric approach to business
Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Competent IT skills
Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
